You may have noticed the little counter on the sidebar that shows what the Kyoto Global Warming treaty is costing the world and how little good in terms of making the earth cooler (its goal) it’s doing. You should read JunkScience.com’s full article on the subject.
I found this counter on the blog of Lubos Motl, a Czech theoretical physicist who is a Harvard professor and who works on string theory and conceptual problems of quantum gravity. (his wikipedia entry and his blog) So much for the theory that no scientists oppose Kyoto, etc. His blog is a very interesting one. I loved his post about quantum gravity and string theory. It’s not your average caliber blog post!
