I got a free copy of the eBook, How to Write from Mind and Media. I haven’t had time to review it yet, but I don’t know that I need to. Other, more credible sources than myself have done so with aplomb.
This little book is one of the more helpful guides for the beginning writer. It emphasizes good organization in getting started on a first draft, and gives clear, intelligent counsel on how to do this… Will surely help the young, the confused, and the struggling.

The amazing thing? This book costs $6.95 on Amazon. It costs a mere $1.99 in a copy-protection-free eBook version! I would buy this book on the basis of this revolutionary distribution model alone! (It costs them next to nothing to distribute, they still have their profit margin, the customer pays less, less trees are killed, it has no onerous copy-protection schemes, etc; if the rest of the industry would follow at this low price, the industry wouldn’t need to worry about piracy because it is priced so affordably, the impetus for piracy just wouldn’t be there.) If you’re not as enthusiastic about revolutionary new business/distribution models as I am, that fine! This book has received rave reviews from the two preeminent newspapers of America. This is obviously a great little guide and it’s only $1.99 (less than the cost of a drink in many restaurants)! Pick up your copy today.
I was not paid and had no incentive to write this post other than a free copy of the book ($1.99 value) which I would have received whether I was negative or positive.
