It’s amazing how all the shoes in manly colors on clearance at EastBay only come in sizes 16-18. From about 50 shoes that I checked, only these purple shoes were available in my size 12:
A friend of mine opined (ridiculously IMHO) via IM:

See? I told you. Ridiculous. Nothing good (except saving money) can come of a guy wearing purple shoes.
