S. E. Samonte just friended me on YouTube, so I went over to look at some of his videos. Wow! He has a whole bunch of conservative Mennonite songs set to pictures! Check it out:
Day by Day
Antrim Mennonite Choir
The Sands of Times are Sinking
Altar of Praise Chorale
How Can I Fear with Jesus?
Harold Dean Miller Family
I would suggest S. E. Samonte (and all of y’all) head over to Glad Songs to download lots of conservative Mennonite music. Beyond all the wonderful Choral stuff, I highly recommend Oh Lord, Hear! by my buddy and former dormie Peter Byler and A Man After Your Own Heart by my buddy and former choir director Trulan Martin.
There’s a bunch more below the fold.
Still, Still With Thee

‘Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus

I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say

Are You Washed in the Blood?

For more 4-part a cappella Mennonite music, check out these videos of a live performance of the Sharon Singers (in which I was singing).

I like these songs! When I discovered them I immediately ordered a CD from the USA. I’m glad that there are still people who sing such songs. It is a pity that those Mennonite choirs do not exist in Germany.
