I have been amused when Dems and some commenters have thought that political ads that are composed principally of the candidate’s own words are somehow nasty or unfair. I disagree. In an ideal world, political ads should be composed of nothing but the words of your opponent, media clippings, facts and statistics, and your own plans for the future. Here’s an ad that very fairly and effectively shows the people of Minnesota what kind of person they will get if they elect Al Franken to the Senate:
