» » This is where I was hanging out on Tuesday (the day the story was written). Don't worry, Mom. (1) » »

» » I was playing basketball in Jerusalem this afternoon with a guy who works for the Financial Times and he said that the head of the Mossad was assassinated in Amman, Jordan several days ago. At this point it's only the domain of rumor. I wonder if it's true. Update: Apparently it's not. (0) » »

» » The British government is hushing up one of their own studies that show that using disposable diapers actually produces less CO2 than reusable diapers. The government is in a bit of bind having promoted using reusables as a way to save the planet. (0) » »

» » More and more scientists are defecting from the cult of global warming:

In early September, I began noticing a string of news stories about scientists rejecting the orthodoxy on global warming. Actually, it was more like a string of guest columns and long letters to the editor since it is hard for skeptical scientists to get published in the cabal of climate journals now controlled by the Great Sanhedrin of the environmental movement.

Still, the number of climate change skeptics is growing rapidly. Because a funny thing is happening to global temperatures -- they're going down, not up.
Like good ol' Y2K and all other myths, urban legends, and scams, global warming too will see its eventual downfall. Fortunately, the economic downturn is hastening it as people don't have spare change to indulge their fantasies. This is happening in Europe as a global warming accord is falling apart because of that. (0) » »

» » I'm having a great time teaching English in Ramallah, Palestine again. I have a terrific class, though I do miss my old class. (I moved from teaching level 1 to teaching level 4, because I enjoy grammar.) While preparing my lesson, I came across the best resource I have found yet of conversation starters for ESL/EFL classes. » » On top of ACORN's (the organization Obama worked for as a "community organizer") extensive vote fraud on Obama's behalf, now a new incident of vote fraud has emerged in which a mentally handicapped man was forced to vote for Obama even though he told the worker over and over that he wanted to vote for McCain. • Putin’s dog gives us a look into his soul

This is the conversation right after putting a satellite tracking collar on Putin’s dog. Reuters:

“She looks sad,” [Deputy Prime Minister Sergei] Ivanov said. “Her free life is over.”

“She is wagging her tail. That means she likes it,” Putin said.

It seems clear from his actions and words that Putin thinks the same of the Russian people, yea the entire former Soviet Union.

  • McCain: Hilariously Funny

    17Oct
    Categories: Humor, Political Comments: 1

This is the single funniest video I have seen this election cycle and certainly the funniest, most humorous performance by any political candidate. SNL should hire McCain. Watch the whole thing:

Update: See Obama’s comedy speech as well. It’s not quite as funny (unless I am biased), but there are some really hilarious lines as well:

Updated to replace MSNBC version (which was incomplete and didn’t have the last couple of minutes of McCain’s routine) with a complete Fox News version.

  • » » Obama might want to stop talking about his "community organizing" now that we know what that "community organizing" really entailed. The organization he was working for, ACORN, just got raided for electoral fraud: falsifying voter registration, signing up non-existent people to vote Democrat. This isn't the first such incident. Gotta love Obama's clear record of post-partisanship. (0) » »

» » Obama has pointed to his running of his campaign as executive experience. However, if he runs the White House like he runs his campaign, America is in for a rough four years if he wins. (2) » »
