My good buddies from By The Way quartet are fellow alumni of SMBI, as are Duane Horst and Malisa Peachy. While I was at SMBI, Duane and Malisa were on StuCo (Student Council) together. On choir tour, Duane wrote a song about Malisa entitled “Please Malisa Peachy” which was a parody of “Please Mr. Custer” (a song about Custer’s Last Stand that was a school favorite that he would sing in the public lounge with his guitar quite often). At Duane and Malisa’s wedding, BTW got up and sang the following parody song that they (Pede primarily, I believe) wrote for Duane and Malisa.
